On the occasion of the opening of his 19ᵉ largest outlet to date, in the Cloche d'Or district, Jean-Marie Hoffmann looks back on this strategic move and what it means for his company.

Why did you choose to set up in the Cloche d'Or?
This is a fast-growing district, with a real diversity of profiles: people who live and work here, students, families... It's a lively, dynamic place, where things happen. It's an ideal environment for a brand like ours, which aims to reach a wide audience.

What also appealed to us was the care taken with the urban environment: everything is clean, well thought-out and pleasant. You get the feeling that this is a neighborhood designed to last.

Jean-Marie Hoffmann, CEO, Pâtisserie Hoffmann

La Cloche d'Or has developed very quickly, but in a structured way. You can find everything here: shops, green spaces, schools, offices, restaurants... It's a bit like a city within a city. What also appealed to us was the care taken with the urban environment: everything is clean, well thought-out and pleasant. You get the feeling that this is a neighborhood designed to last.

This is your biggest store to date.
Yes, it's a real milestone for us. It's bigger, more modern, with a larger tasting area, a wider range of products and, above all, greater visibility. This reflects our desire to strengthen our presence and continue to innovate in the way we welcome our customers.

What can visitors expect to find at this new address?
Everything that makes up our DNA: artisan bread and viennoiseries, of course, but also a tea room area for coffee or lunch on the go. We want people to want to come back, whether for a quick break or a moment of relaxation. And as always, quality is at the heart of everything we do.

A word about your career since 1991?
Our first store opened in Bonnevoie, and since then we've grown from strength to strength. Today, we have 19 outlets in Luxembourg. We've built this growth with passion and high standards, while retaining our identity: offering quality, home-made products, with a real focus on service.

What are your plans for the future?
To continue to evolve, to meet our customers' expectations, and to pass on our know-how. Opening in the Cloche d'Or was also a way of looking to the future. It's a neighborhood that still has a lot to offer, and we're delighted to be part of it.
