It's the business district, but it's also their rallying point, the golden youth (an easy pun, we grant you, when it comes to evoking the Cloche d'Or) who spend as much time as employees, working girls and other businessmen in this place of business and pleasure. We interviewed them, asked them to choose an emblematic building of their choice and got them talking... Between present and future, the teenagers' point of view.

What's your view of the Cloche d'Or district?

There's no denying that it's a beautiful, modern district, with buildings of all architectural styles, giving the whole an interesting feel.

How have you seen it evolve?

I vividly remember when we started high school. It was pretty much all fields and very sparsely populated. Today, the Cloche d'Or is truly one of Luxembourg's main districts, recognized as such.

What do you think of the coming streetcar?

The arrival of the tramway is excellent news, as it will provide an additional means of transport to Gasperich and link it directly to the Kirchberg district in no time.

Why did you choose this building?

I chose the Bijoux building because I find its structure very interesting and unusual. The shapes on the facade remind me of leaves or honeycombs, which gives the building a new, aesthetic feel.

What's your favorite souvenir of the Golden Bell?

The fact that I "grew up" in this area, because I arrived here in my first year of secondary school (French 6th grade) and I'm here for my last year, the final year of high school, the year of my baccalaureate.
