Located in the modern Cloche d'Or district, Vauban, the French School and Lycée of Luxembourg, is a benchmark establishment in the Grand Duchy. Approved by the French Ministry of Education and a partner in the worldwide network of AEFE (Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger), it welcomes more than 2,600 students from kindergarten to the end of secondary school.
An integrated campus in a booming neighborhood
Since moving into its new premises in 2017 for primary and 2018 for secondary, the school has benefited from a modern, spacious campus in the heart of the Cloche d'Or, a fast-growing district to the south of Luxembourg City. The site covers 5.4 hectares with around 45,000 m² of built space, including classrooms, laboratories, cultural areas, sports facilities, school catering, libraries and educational gardens.
Easily accessible, the plant is well served by public transport: regular bus routes and, more recently, the arrival of the tramway.

Vauban follows the French national education system. Teaching is in French, with a progressive reinforcement of modern languages from an early age. English, German and Luxembourgish are integrated into the curriculum at different levels. The school is home to a multicultural community of French, Luxembourgish and international families, reflecting the country's diversity.
