Luxembourg, May 7, 2026

The Grossfeld joint venture has announced the sale of its stake in Sparkling 1 S.à r.l., the owner of the building housing the B&B hotel in the Cloche d’Or neighborhood. The transaction is valued at 37.4 million euros.

Scheduled to open in September 2025, this B&B hotel marks the French hotel chain’s debut in Luxembourg. As the project initiator and a joint venture between Promobe and Nextensa, Grossfeld oversaw the development and completion of the building in July 2025.

The hotel, rated Three-Star Superior, offers 150 rooms for business and leisure travelers in a prime location that combines shops, offices, medical facilities, and green spaces.

Jones Lang LaSalle advised the buyer on this transaction.

A prime location that combines convenience and quality of life

Ideally located in the Cloche d’Or neighborhood, the new facility benefits from a diverse environment that includes the offices of major international companies, local shops, a shopping center, a medical center, and the city’s largest park. Access to the site is made easy by its immediate proximity to the tram, public transportation, and major roadways. The Cloche d’Or neighborhood has earned DGNB Platinum certification, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable mobility and urban quality.

The Cloche d’Or district continues to attract major new players and is establishing itself as a key urban hub, strengthening Luxembourg’s Central Business District (CBD).

A building designed for the contemporary hospitality industry

Designed by architect Moreno, the building comprises seven above-ground floors and features a basement level housing parking spaces and utility rooms. The entrance, located on Gerhard Mercator Street, leads to a reception area, a bar/lounge, a breakfast room, a meeting room, and a large private terrace.

This building was designed to accommodate a diverse clientele, including both business travelers and tourists, offering a level of comfort in line with the standards of the B&B HOTELS brand.
